About Physio & Recover
Physio & Recover – We welcome any patient any age and any severity. We have worked with a host of backgrounds, including office workers, retirees, keen gardeners, professional sports people, serious life changing accidents and many more. All injuries have an impact, whether it small or significant; if it impacts the enjoyment of life we will help. We approach every patient and condition with an open mind. Physiotherapy is designed to help people recover from injury through treatment and exercise. We are manual physiotherapists, and when appropriate will mobilise and manipulate; muscles, tendons, ligaments and joints to maximise recovery potential.

I am fortunate to have a variety of experience, I am aiming to support and help as many people as possible. I pride my approach in doing what is best for my patients, if I am unable to solve a problem, I will find the right professional and advice to support your recovery. I will not give lists and lists of exercises; it is in my experience that over loading patients with too much can confuse matters and ultimately can slow recovery. I give just enough homework, to help manage symptoms and work towards feeling better. My goal is to offer easy access and sound scientific evidence-based treatment to all patients. Appointments to be offered in clinic, in your home or virtually online. In my spare time away from clinic, I enjoy it with my wife and children; any left-over time I will be on the golf course!!

I split my clinic time between private practice and the NHS. I am passionate about helping people. I enjoy the variation in injuries that I see every day. It is so rewarding to help, pain can be scary but I have found that supporting my patients with knowledge and good treatment can ease even the worst of situations. I am currently away for 6 months exploring South East Asia. Look forward to returning in 2025.

I have a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years through private practice as well as within the NHS, where I also currently work at an advanced practice level. It is important to me that people have the right help, and with my experience I know when to treat or when to refer onto another health care professional. Outside of physiotherapy I enjoy going to the gym, bouldering and playing the guitar. I have recently got married; my wife is also a physiotherapist.
